The Real One!
I almost fell off my chair when I first heard the vocals of a contemporary R&B singer, songwriter and producer called August Twelfth.
It was one of those eureka moments when I thought: “Wow… Who is this?”
Yep! Sure enough, I eventually found out that the singer in question was from England and that he already had plenty of material available online – so it was a wonderful day for my listening ears to discover much more of his diverse music.
The track in question was called: ‘Real One’ and I just thought: “Now that’s what you call a vibe.”
I was instantly hooked and it is always great to hear a singer who is so creative vocally, along with their own distinctive style.
In 2017 August Twelfth released his first EP: ‘Blaque L’Amour.’ – I really like the track ‘Rock Your Body’.
In 2020 he released his first project: ‘The Collection, Vol. 1’.
